Revitalizing the family
There is no question as to which ministry God intended to be the most important, the Apostle Paul clearly wrote that it is the family; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel” (KJV 1 Timothy 5:8). We are living in an era where there are daunting stattics concerning the family institution. Marriage is the 'cornerstone' of the family; therfore it is imperative to revitalize and strengthen for marriage stability. The family structure is subtly becoming dismantled and there is an increase in single-headed households, divorce, out-of-wedlock births and cohabitation in the United States, as well as in the church. Unlike the world, Christians cannot and should not accept this breakdown of the family as an acceptable "norm."
We are committed to strengthening the institution of family by providing education, training and support to individuals needing strategies for health and wellness in their homes. Some marriages and families are holding on to a single thread and one more crisis could break the bond that is barely keeping them together. We believe all things are possible with God. Our goal is to develop and maintain a pro-marriage culture by being a spectrum of information.
We will be using a wide variety of vehicles to provide basic education about marriage, such as the "benefits of marriage to children," "the rights and responsibilities of marriage," "the typical stages of marriage," and resources to get information and help with relationship and marriage problems.
